Dorota Viktoria Łacek Gorczyca was born in 03.03.1965 in Lublin.
Her works are available in the collection of National Museum in Cracow. She has contributed to 9 spectacles/ theatrical preformances, including 4 directed entirely on her own. Among her accomplishments are numerous permanent exhibitions of painting and sculpture. She also participated in creation of stage design to more than 30 realizations of various commercials and feature films.
1986 – 1991 Dorota Łacek Gorczyca graduated from The Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, and she achieved Diploma in Faculty of Graphic Arts under direction of prof. Andrzej Pietsch. She graduated from Graphic and Interior Design on PLSP in Lublin. She accomplished studies in: drawing, painting, sculpture, design of advertisement, lettering, book, analog photography, advertising photography, screen printing, lithography, intaglio (printmaking) and woodcut.
She has contributed to establishing “Theatre of Situation” in Cracow.
